Live for what
matters most
Simple Pursuit is a bold call from the heartbeat of the Passion Movement to live for what matters most…God’s glory. But what does that actually look like?

Simple Pursuit contains 365 daily devotionals written by a collective of 18-25-year-olds from the Passion Movement for their peers. Each day of this year long journey will inspire you to perfect the pause, allowing God to break through the noise of this world with the truth of His Word.
The Passion Movement
During the early days of Passion, God connected our story to the confession found in Isaiah 26:8, specifically the last phrase that says, “for your name and renown are the desire of our souls.”

The heart of Passion is God’s glory, and God is most glorified in us when we live lives that are fully satisfied in Him. In an effort to flesh out this desire, the 268 Declaration was crafted around these five statement and prayers.
01
A PASSION TO KNOW GOD ABOVE ALL THINGS
02
LOVE FOR THE LOCAL EXPRESSION OF HIS CHURCH
03
UNITY AMONG BELIEVERS THAT AMPLIFIES HIS NAME
04
A DESIRE TO SEE CHRIST CELEBRATED WHERE I LIVE
05
WILLINGNESS TO SHINE THE GOSPEL TO ALL PEOPLE
The introduction and first week of devotionals is on us.
About the Authors
All 365 devotionals in Simple Pursuit were written by a collective 18-25-year-olds from the Passion Movement for their peers. These writers have a heart for glorifying God by uniting their peers in worship, prayer and justice for spiritual awakening in their generation.

Chris Tomlin, David Crowder, Matt Redman, Melodie Malone and Ben Stuart each provide a chapter introduction throughout the devotional.

From it’s start in 1995, the Passion movement has had a singular mission-calling students from campuses across the nation and around the world to live for what matters most. The writers of these devotionals are those students.
